Texas Judicial Cookbook -

In 1999 former Governor George W. Bush and the Texas Legislature established the Historic Courthouse Preservation Program to provide grants to counties in need of courthouse renovations. This was prompted by the addition of Texas's courthouses to the 1998 list of America's 11 Most Endangered Historic Places by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The Texas Judicial Cookbook is a culinary tribute to these monuments of justice and leadership, fashioned by the hands of pioneering Texans. This compilation of recipes from residing judges and other state and county officials is enhanced by beautiful photographs of these historical treasures.

Southern Hog Bay Recipes is an all pork cookbook that leaves you cooking everything but the squeal!
Hello There! "Pick And Scratch" is dedicated to my grandmother Lucy Lavine; she was born in Indian Territory before Oklahoma was a State. Her home remedies and cooking has been passed down through the years with love and humor. The one recipe I recall was for uncontrollable children, "Peach Tree Tea". She would cut a switch off of the peach tree, take the leaves off and apply it to my behind. This cookbook is for everyone who relates to real living, humor and love.
Recipes & Remembrances
Martha Caroline Johnson is a tip of my mother's life story told through cooking. I hope you will use these recipes often and keep my mother life story close to your heart.
My Aunt Doll collected recipes since she was old enough to cut them out of magazines. She is on her deathbed now; her children had to go to the bank and get in her safe deposit box for some important papers. The firs thing they pulled out was recipe she had cut out of some magazine and no telling how old it is. She really did not believe in sharing the whole recipe. I hope The Recipe Collector will teach family and friends to share the whole recipe with one another not just a pinch of this and a dash of that.
